charming stay with minor inconveniences
The room was cozy, with an inviting atmosphere and a stunning view of the sea. The staff made us feel welcome, especially the friendly chap at the front desk, which added a nice touch to our experience.
The breakfast options were limited, which could be improved.

The location is unbeatable, just steps from the beach, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. the room was quite hot with no air conditioning or adequate ventilation, and it could really use a makeover. a pleasant experience with room for improvement.

Good vibes by the beach!
We had a fun stay even though the room was kinda messy with weird stains on the chairs. The beds were super comfy, and the staff were friendly and helpful, offering extra blowdryers. The location is perfect, just a hop to the beach, but honestly, the cleanliness could use a boost.

Had a fantastic weekend with friends! We explored local pubs and checked out the Theatre Royal for an awesome show. The room we stayed in had a lovely view and was quite cozy. Really good value for the location, close to everything we wanted to see.
Our room got a bit hot at night even with the windows open, which made sleeping a little uncomfortable.

Would recommend for a break on long journey
Charming building, pleasant staff, providing a clean room with a great sea view and comfortable beds for a restful night's sleep, along with free Wi-Fi available in public areas and easy access to the beach that's just a short walk away.
Everything was spot-on.

Location can't be beaten. step outside and you're right on the beach. The room provided comfortable amenities, including tea and coffee facilities, which added a nice touch to the stay.
Noise levels became a significant issue—poorly sealed windows let all the street sounds flood in, and I could hear everything from the hallway, including morning shouts from staff. The decor felt really dated, with peeling wallpaper in the room. the shower was tricky too, as the head wouldn't stay put, forcing me to bend down for a good wash. not having a lift could be a hassle for anyone packing more than a couple of bags.

Our stay was lovely, especially the quaint little terrace for morning coffee and the cleanliness was top-notch! Though the pillows were lacking, I would still return without hesitation.

Charming Stay with Attentive Staff
My partner and I enjoyed a comfortable stay over four nights. The staff were incredibly helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed, including dinner recommendations. The room was tidy though small, but we loved the complimentary kettle and tea. I suggest packing light due to limited storage.

Had a great time with friends visiting the beach and the Theatre Royal. The hotel's in a prime spot, walking distance to everything fun. Rooms were comfy enough, and we appreciated the friendly staff. Just remember, it's a charming old building with no lift, so pack light!
The pillows could definitely use an upgrade. they were pretty thin and not very comfy. A new set of pillows would go a long way to improve the comfort levels in the rooms.

The triple room was decent for one night. The bed was clean and comfy, but the chairs were a bit worn. Loved the view of the sea from the old sash windows. It was quiet, which was nice. Just a basic room, but met our needs. Had a great location near the beach and other spots. Worth the price, really.
